What are the steps in the application process?

Here are the steps in the kcReal Properties application process:

Step 1: Find an available property you like.
Step 2: Submit a pre-screening questionnaire form.
Step 3: We'll review your pre-screening form and reply with next steps.
Step 4: If you meet the pre-qualifications, you'll be notified of our next showing times.
Step 5: Tour the property and if you like it, review the Applicant FAQs and then submit an application. Details on the application can be found on our Rental Application page.
Step 6: Our background check and screening partner will begin processing your application. Keep in mind, this can take time to receive replies from employers, previous landlords, etc.
Step 7: Submit your security deposit in order to hold the property. This security deposit is fully refundable in case you're not approved as an applicant.
Step 8: Once your security deposit is received and your background / screening report is available we'll review it and let you know if you're approved or not. From there, we'll contact you with next steps via email.
